The Oregon Council for Behavioral Health (OCBH) and Mend today announced a statewide partnership to help Oregon's behavioral health providers serve more people without adding staff. Under the agreement, OCBH's more than 60 member organizations gain access to the Mend platform along with member-exclusive terms.
The partnership arrives as behavioral health payment is shifting toward value-based models in which revenue follows appointment adherence and sustained patient engagement. Demand keeps climbing while clinical staffing does not, and the gap shows up operationally: appointments that fail, intakes that stall, and open slots nobody has the hours to refill.
Mend automates that operational layer. Digital intake, self-scheduling, smart waitlist management, automated payments, and patient engagement (no app to download, no login to remember) run directly within an organization's existing electronic health record rather than replacing it, so member organizations can adopt the platform without a system migration.
Mend also recently launched Coordinate™, an AI coordinator that predicts which appointments are likely to fail, prepares the outreach to save them, and then automates the outreach, any rescheduling, and even proactively offers open appointments to patients who are waiting to be seen. The results are measurable: Across 40 million patient appointments and 160 million patient interactions, Mend has lowered average no-show rates by 63%, allowing its customers to recover an average of $41,000 in monthly revenue.
