Overview

Mend's trademarks include the Mend name, the Mend wordmark, and the Mend app icon. These assets are protected intellectual property. You may use them only in the ways described on this page, and only in a manner that accurately represents Mend and does not create confusion about the source or sponsorship of your product or service.

No prior approval is required for uses that comply with these guidelines. For any use not covered here, including co-branded materials, advertising campaigns, merchandise, or modified versions of the logo, written permission from Mend is required. Email marketing@mend.com.

Logo Usage Rules

Follow these rules whenever you display the Mend wordmark or app icon.

Do
  • Use the approved logo files provided below without modification
  • Use the full color logo whenever possible; reserve the black or white versions only when legibility or accessibility demands it, or when the medium is limited to black and white (such as print, fax, or embossing)
  • Maintain clear space equal to the height of the "m" on all sides of the wordmark
  • Scale the logo proportionally and never stretch or compress it
  • Use the app icon (square format) for app store listings, favicons, and profile images
  • Ensure the logo is legible and not placed over busy or low-contrast backgrounds
Do Not
  • Rotate, skew, or apply effects such as drop shadows, outlines, or gradients to the logo
  • Place the logo on a background that reduces legibility
  • Use the logo at a size smaller than 120px wide (wordmark) or 24px (app icon)
  • Use an outdated or unofficial version of the logo
  • Recreate the logo in a different typeface or attempt to approximate it
  • Combine the Mend logo with another logo in a way that implies a merged entity

Naming and Referencing Mend

When referring to Mend in writing, follow these conventions.

Correct Usage
  • Write "Mend" with a capital M when referring to the company or platform
  • "Powered by Mend" or "Built with Mend" for integration references
  • "Mend's platform" or "the Mend platform" when referring to the product
  • Use "Mend" as an adjective, not a noun: "Mend software," not "a Mend"
Incorrect Usage
  • Do not write "mend," "MEND," or "MeNd"
  • Do not abbreviate or shorten the name (e.g., "M" or "MND")
  • Do not use possessives in a way that implies ownership: avoid "Mend's customer" to mean your own customer
