Elevance Health Foundation Announces Behavioral Health RFP

The Elevance Health Foundation has released a new Request for Proposal (RFP) focused on advancing behavioral health across the country. As a catalyst for positive change, the Foundation is looking to partner with non-profits to drive innovative, scalable solutions for mental health (MH) and substance use disorder (SUD).

 

What is the Foundation Looking For?

The Foundation is prioritizing programs that achieve one or more of the following goals:

  • Increase Treatment Access:
    Growing the number of individuals receiving services for mental health and/or substance use disorders
    .

  • Prevention & Early Intervention:
    Supporting strategies to reduce risks through screenings and early outreach
    .

  • Combat Loneliness:
    Reducing social isolation and feelings of loneliness among those living with MH or SUD
    .

Priority Considerations

Proposals will receive priority if they address “whole-person” health, incorporate culturally relevant interventions, and offer innovative solutions that generate measurable outcomes.

Key Details:

  • Eligibility: Registered 501(c)3 charitable organizations.

  • Geographic Scope: The Foundation is seeking national programs or local initiatives in CA, FL, GA, IN, MO, NV, NY, OH, TX, and VA.

  • Grant Term: 1–3 years.

  • Submission Deadline: January 31, 2026
