
The Elevance Health Foundation has released a new Request for Proposal (RFP) focused on advancing behavioral health across the country. As a catalyst for positive change, the Foundation is looking to partner with non-profits to drive innovative, scalable solutions for mental health (MH) and substance use disorder (SUD).
The Foundation is prioritizing programs that achieve one or more of the following goals:
Increase Treatment Access:
Growing the number of individuals receiving services for mental health and/or substance use disorders.
Prevention & Early Intervention:
Supporting strategies to reduce risks through screenings and early outreach.
Combat Loneliness:
Reducing social isolation and feelings of loneliness among those living with MH or SUD.
Proposals will receive priority if they address “whole-person” health, incorporate culturally relevant interventions, and offer innovative solutions that generate measurable outcomes.
Eligibility: Registered 501(c)3 charitable organizations.
Geographic Scope: The Foundation is seeking national programs or local initiatives in CA, FL, GA, IN, MO, NV, NY, OH, TX, and VA.
Grant Term: 1–3 years.
Submission Deadline: January 31, 2026
